I first met {Elise + Caitlin} for their engagement session at Lewis & Clark College. To the seemingly endless locations we wandered to areas that were not only blooming with rhododendrons and other flowers but had uniqueness unto itself like the bike rack shaped like a tandem bike that they were able to sit on as if they were riding it. I’ll always remember the fun I had with them on this day and like a lightning bolt it was time for their wedding! The view of the Cascade Mountains and that feeling of really being out doors in nature is what makes Black Butte Ranch near Sisters, Oregon so special and definitely why our same sex couple chose this venue. Also special, {Elise + Caitlin} designed and made their wine box which will house a loved bottle of wine and more importantly, a note to each other that they’ll open and read in one year – which I think is an awesome idea but whew, don’t forget to have the tissues handy for that one ladies! The support {Elise + Caitlin} have from their families was and is fantastic and in the end we were honored to be part of the beginning of this new chapter in both their lives. So glad to call you both friends {Elise + Caitlin}!
