Right after Hillary + Jacob’s engagement session last fall, Jacob was whisked off to bootcamp having just joined the Air Force. They hadn’t seen each other for months until a week before their wedding in Brookings, Oregon and reception in Smith River, California. This wedding was all the more special as everyone was able to see him in uniform for this fabulous occasion. This fun-loving young couple grew up together and fell in love early 🙂 Hillary’s plan is to also join the Air Force and they are moving to Hawaii where they were lucky enough to be stationed near Pearl Harbor.
One of the highlights of this beautiful SUNNY day on the southern Oregon coast (certainly a rarity this time of year!) were the massive wind gusts blowing Hillary’s beautiful dress during their first look overlooking the stunning beach and black rocks. The wind whipped the dress and created such a beautiful scene to mimic the wave of emotion the first look always creates.
Hillary + Jacob, thank you for choosing to serve our country. The true adventure lies ahead! We are so grateful that we were able to share this experience with you. May the winds always blow with you and keep you safe in each others arms.
