When you put two creatives and advertising execs together, you know it’s going to be a wedding with a lot of details! They were over the top wonderful and the wedding illustrated the elegance and personality of these two Seattle, Wa lovebirds. Aspen Hall, near Shevlin Park in Bend, Oregon was the backdrop and blank canvas for these artists.
It was raining in and out all day but when we needed the clouds to part and the rain to stop – it did 🙂 The first look and bride and groom portraits took place on the roof of 919 Bond Street and The Loft downtown. The sophisticated lure of the club matched these two perfectly and the light was amazing. The ceremony was outside on the lawn and lined with modern decor flowers from Singing Sparrow. Married by a close friend who said, “by the powers that be from the Internet – I now pronounce you husband and wife!” The whole day had lots of laughs, personality and some serious love for the Oregon DUCKS. (ahhhem, even the surprise football groom cake).
Here’s a little excerpt from the Best Man’s speech:
“The last part of the best-man speech, especially coming from an already married man like myself, is to dispence some wisdom or advice on marriage. But … I dont really have any secrets to reveal. The truth is, the great opporitunities to help each other in marriage come few and far between – but the small ones surround us each and every day.”
Well said and thanks Adam for sharing!
All the best to you Megan + Matt,

These were the most interesting and beautiful wedding pictures of all that I have seen. Every one sparkled with the ambience of the wedding atmosphere and the happiness of all involved. I liked, particularly, the one of her hands around her loved ones neck, one finger with the engagement ring and the other showing the wedding band. The “best man” quote was wonderful. Great work, Byron!
