{Michelle + Karl}, Sparks (the pup) and I were chasing amazing light the entire time we were together for their engagement session. To say the least the clouds were working with us on this day!! I’m pretty sure this was my first time photographing an engagement session on these cool painted stairs in the Old Mill District of Bend, Oregon – love how the colors just pop in relation to the green scenery. After we had some fun getting Sparks amped up next to the Deschutes River (yes Sparks, you did a fantastic job executing my vision!) it was time to head up the Cascade Lakes Highway to Sparks lake. The lake obviously holds sentimental value for these two since they got engaged there in addition to their doggy’s name. A memorable experience was photographing Karl and Sparks jumping across the river – and the smile on everyone’s faces! Wendy and I are getting excited to be your wedding photographers this year but for now enjoy these images!!
