{Piper + Adam} Wedding Photography Timberline Lodge; Mt Hood, Oregon

{Piper + Adam} decided on Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood for their destination wedding and created a beautiful day for themselves, family & friends.  A storm cycle decided to push it’s way in that weekend so as it was snowing on and off the entire day we were really wondering if Mount Hood would every show it’s face.  Well, at Byron Roe Photography we have really really really good weather karma for photographing weddings, (ok, we were still surprised to see blue skies at all that day I have to admit).  Not only were first time guests able to see the splendor of this amazing mountain but we were able to capture the magnificence of a dramatic summit along with {Piper + Adam} for sunset photos!  Congrats to this beautiful couple – Enjoy our images!!

Here’s some really interesting details from {Piper + Adam}:  The couple first visited Timberline Lodge in 2012 for a scientific conference, just before they finished their time in chemistry graduate school.  Adam and Piper were both drawn to the hotel’s alpine charm, stunning vistas, and enormous hexagonal fireplace (site of the artistic portraits).  The groom’s wedding ring was personally designed, using a wood pattern photographed from the threshold of the couple’s shared home. The ring was 3-D printed in wax by Shapeways and then lost wax cast in gold.  How’s that for awesome?!
