This engagement session was one for the books and the definition of ‘going with the flow.’ We’ve known Christina since we shot her brother and sister-in-law {Jason + Nikki}’s wedding a few years back. We’ve become dear friends over the years and had the chance to get to know Christina and recently Cody well through them!
We started in the snow and headed out to Big Eddy to capture the snow on water beauty that that area brings. On our way back from Big Eddy, after a fun snow shoot and the first half of the session, we left right after another truck, which promptly got stuck and blocked the path. {Christina + Cody} then got stuck in the snow and after trying everything (even in dress shoes!), we had to leave their car and come back to it the next day 🙁 By that point, after several hours it was getting dark and we had to call it. We setup another day to go for the second half and stayed a little closer to home at the Old Mill. It’s amazing that no matter how many times you walk by an area, when you are holding a camera to your eye, you see things so differently. We never saw this fabulous rock perch until that moment and it’s one of our favorite images from the day!
