We had an amazing time photographing {Elyssa + Casey} wedding day at the insanely picturesque Gorge Crest Vineyards, with a view of Mt Hood that’s 2nd to none! If you can remember, this is the couple that was brave enough to run into the middle of the street, (yes we played it safe and looked both ways) in Portland where we captured that sweet shot of the two embracing in front of the Broadway Bridge. By the way, I really don’t know how you guys had the time to plan such a fabulous wedding as you did….come to think of it though, Elyssa’s got about as much energy as I do so now it all makes sense. Elyssa’s currently finishing med school and Casey just got in, (CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU!!), and they still make it a point to take the time to go rock climbing together, (glad you have your priorities straight!!!). Anyway, the details of this wedding were plentiful, right down to the m&m’s with a German Shepard picture on them. Considering I’m a huge fan of animals, having their German Shepard Kaia at the wedding was super fun…..oh and if you’d like to see what Kaia’s up to you can friend her on FB as she has her own profile. From the wonderful friends and family to the “Hand Fasting” ceremony where the phrase “tying the knot” came from, to the toasts that made everyone nearly shoot drinks out their noses, this day was so personal and perfect it was hard to see it end!
