Jessica + Dwayne,
It’s been a priviledge to get to you know you both these last few months, learning your unique story of two in love in the military, and sharing in your wedding like old friends. Even the little notes you leave each other on Facebook helped us understand how much this wedding meant to you both. The DIY (Do-It-Yourself) details were awesome, from the hand painted umbrellas and fan, to the custom invitation, ‘I promise’ ring cup, the original song Dwayne wrote and performed (even we were teary!), the love letters you shared on your day…it was all unique, all YOU.
Thank you for letting us share in your elopement and travel to the ‘Italian-style villa of The Villa at Little Cape Horn in Cathlamet, WA. It was beautiful place to shoot. Having a couple cook their wedding meal, together with dress and tux in the kitchen was priceless! Congratulations, thank you for serving our country, and may life bring you a wealth of joy together.
All the best,
B + W
One of the last frames of the evening – it transports you to Europe just shooting there 🙂
Sweet, serene…we loved your getting ready robe and this solo moment.
Next door….Dwayne was practicing away on his grand solo and original song.
The ‘first look’ as Dwayne presented you with your bridal bouquet…
Joan and Richard (the inn keepers) were wonderful!
Dwayne’s grand debut as an acoustic artist 🙂
The custom painted Asian umbrellas
Dwayne looking very presidential…signing the marriage certificate!
One of the many successful ‘veil drops!’
Jessica + Dwayne eloped with their two old friends as witnesses – the six of us shared the dinner table 🙂
One of our favorites for the evening as well.
A classic cooking shot! The meal was just wonderful and you two adorable.
Cake tasting – YUM.
I love the pictures you take which show real artistry and the feelings of love between the couples. But your comments are a real insight into the pleasures you take from your work and the time you take to make them. Bravo, Byron, you are a winner!
