A sister couldn’t be more excited and thrilled to see her sister thrive in love. It’s such a joy to witness {Jill + Nathan’s} transformation from old friends (his mom and our mom go WAY back, in fact they played in the sandbox together as babies!) to the fiery romance of today! These two are well matched and both are excited for all the new things to come this year including a move for Jill from San Francisco back home to Raleigh, NC. It was an honor and privilege to be asked to do a portrait love session recently with them to document this very special time. Nathan is a family documentary photographer (informally but he’s never without his camera), so it was really fun to get him in FRONT of the camera! We went into downtown Raleigh to find some great color and texture and ended up at the city market and the capital building to capture to the pillars known in the south and throughout North Carolina architecture.
