Dear Monkey,

Within 2 weeks of when we first started dating, I told you that you were going to marry me someday. I may very well have been inebriated at the time, but nonetheless, here we are today getting ready to embark on an adventurous journey together. Though no relationship is ever perfect, and there will always be highs and lows, I know that we can overcome anything as long as we have each other.

I know I don’t tell you nearly enough, but you are an amazing man and I love you more and more each day. You are my best friend and I’m excited for what the future holds.

Thanks again for inviting us to capture your engagement images in the beautiful light near Tumalo Falls.  The natural landscape of the rocks, bridge and Skyliner lodge made a perfect backdrop and the light was amazing.  We ALL would have liked it a little warmer (ha ha) but you guys stuck it out!  Here’s to warm drinks and food afterwards though, I think that saved us all and certainly Byron’s fingers 🙂 Congratulations again and kudos on your upcoming wedding; we hope all the planning comes together just as you dreamed it.

UPDATE: The below 10 images were the result of the 2nd half of the engagement shoot – on a separate evening.  By the time we got to the second location it was 35 degrees and Byron’s hands were frozen to the camera as well as chills all around.  Since the smiles weren’t flowing, we all decided that a 1/2 re-shoot was in order.  So, here’s the second half and smiles were abound!  Thank you summer for FINALLY coming.  Kelly + Stephen….thanks for for getting dolled up again, we couldn’t be more excited of the outcome for the reshoot.  Maybe it was Byron hamming it up or the warm weather…whatever it was, it worked 🙂
